The future is yet to come, but I hope to achieve greatness in the years to come my way. I hope to pursue a greater education in the study fields of psychiatry or the field of forensic pathology. These two medical careers have always been an interest in my mind because the challenging aspect and the people you meet along the way just seem so infatuating in the 'adrenaline' kind of way. I find that because it is mostly biology based and or of probing the human mind, there are many things to explore within these two careers. If it is anything like the T.V show CSI, I think I’ll enjoy it very much or anything like those psychology sessions you see in film where you can find anything out of the ordinary. When and if I ever get the opportunity for a job opening for these two, I'd grab it the blink of an eye. I believe that the Pre-Collegiate program will help me in the career paths that i choose in ways of being prepared for how college life will be and how rigorous course will be. The program will help me exceed in the long run by giving me a taste of first hands on experience of what I should expect in collage and what's expected of students in the classrooms. Hearing from my friends that were in this program, they said that they we're thankful to be part of it because it showed them that collage life was no joke and the teachers in collage really don't care if you fail or pass their class. Once you enter collage, it's the students responsibility for whether they do their own work or not because the teachers aren't going to hold your hands anymore. I hope that by being in this program, I'll be more prepared for what's to come in the future.
It seems like you are very determined to grasp onto your future and run with it! It is so important to know what you want to do because it gives you a head start over others. It is never too early to get the ball rolling. I really like how you have paired up forensic pathology and psychiatry. I watch CSI and other crime scene investigative shows because they ARE so interesting. There are also shows like Cold Case Files and American Justice on the cable channel A&E that feature real life crime scene investigations. If you get a chance, try and watch some. CSI is pretty fun to watch, but by watching something that is fact, it will give you a better idea about how the job really is!
